We are excited to announce our hike schedule for 2022. On the second Saturday of each month we will be offering different hiking experiences. Our first hike will be to the amazing Piedra Blanca on Saturday May 21st 2022. This hike will be led by a local geologist who will share his knowledge of these unique rock formations and the history of the area.This part of the hike is approximately 1.5 miles. It is not very difficult though there are a couple of stream crossings. We will also offer an option of continuing on to Paradise Springs swimming hole, about another mile, for lunch under an ancient Oak tree. We will be meeting at Nordhoff High school parking lot at 8:30 AM and caravan approximately 17 miles to the trailhead. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring a hat,sunscreen, plenty of water, lunch and snacks. Plan on spending several hours to experience this magnificent area. The price for this hike is $40 per person but your memories will be priceless.
