Please join us on this beautiful hike to our highest mountain range at 6500 feet. We will meet at Nordhoff H.S parking lot at 8am. There is some drive time approx.37miles to the trail head. Plan on carpooling. The majestic ancient pine trees soar into a brilliant blue sky and will leave you speechless. The sounds and smells are amazing. The views are 360 degree, encompassing the Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands on one side, and the Oso Bad Lands on the other. Thetrail winds through the beautiful pines along stunning ridge top views. The meadows are in bloom with various wild flowers, truly a sight to behold. We might even find some left over snow. The climate is cooler here than in Ojai so dress in layers. Comfortable hiking shoes, hat and sunscreen are also recommended. Please bring a sack lunch and plenty of water. This is not a very strenuous hike so everyone, (children and Dogs) are welcome. Distance is approx 6 miles total. Cost is $20 for single and $30 for couple.
